We are a short 4km drive from the Town of Tronadora where you can find restaurants, grocery, cafe's, bakeries, a fruit and vegetable stand and a butcher. For a greater selection, we are a quick 20-minute drive to Tilaran.
You will have the entire private home to yourselves. As our guest, you also have full access to the outstanding amenities within our secure, gated community, Vistas Del Lago.

Welcome to Casa BHappy, your beautiful and stately home away from home, nestled on 3/4 acres of lush land in Tronadora. This serene retreat is perfect for groups of up to 8 guests.
The main open-plan living space features high ceilings, creating a grand, airy atmosphere with spectacular views of Lake Arenal and the Arenal Volcano from expansive windows and patios. The home’s unique two-unit design is ideal for multi-generational families seeking both togetherness and privacy.
Bed Configuration:
Main House (Upper Level): Features a master suite with a King-size bed and a modern ensuite bathroom. A loft overlooking the main floor offers a cozy reclining sofa, a dedicated desk space for remote work, a Queen-size bed, and a pull-out Queen-size trundle.
Guest Suite (Lower Level): A separate walkout suite with its own entrance and driveway. This full guest apartment includes a King-size bed, a kitchenette, and an ensuite bathroom.
A vehicle is recommended should you decide to visit us. However, we have had guests who came without one, and we can recommend driving services to get you out and about as needed.
We are only 3 miles from the picturesque town of Tronadora, with the prettiest park in Guanacaste. Here, you can find everything you need, including a grocery store, butcher, bakery, liquor, two restaurants, and a bar for those looking for nightlife.
It is an easy 1.5-hour drive from Liberia Airport and 3 hours from San Jose. If you arrive in San Jose with less than 3 hours of daylight, we recommend staying near the airport and getting a fresh start in the morning. Most roads are paved but not well-marked, with many twists and turns.

This community has 24-hour gated access. On-site security provides peace of mind that you and your belongings will be safe. We will initially grant you access. You will then receive a gate fob for easy access in and out of the community.
To ensure a smooth and secure check-in, our Homeowners Association has instituted the following security protocols. Please be prepared to provide these in advance of your stay:
Passport Photo: We require a photo of the photo page of your passport to provide to security for your initial entry into the community.
Please also note that our community is an expansive 80-acre property with some super great walking roadways, some covered with asphalt and some not. We invite you to walk, jog, and explore. Please stick to the roadways and do not enter private property. Failure to observe this courtesy could result in cancellation of your reservation.
